What Is A Peptide?

Peptides are amino acid chains that are too short to be called a “protein.”

Proteins are amino acid chains that have at least 50 amino acids in them. Peptides generally have a simpler structure, and are between 2–50 amino acids.

There are thousands of peptides. Some do 1-2 things well, and some do many things really well. The goal of peptides though is to help your body fight aging. While there are many peptides that have been thoroughly studied, we’ve found that these peptides and blends have proven effective for a number of patients.

At each consultation a clinician will discuss your health and any issues you’re dealing with, additionally we do a blood panel that looks at your current hormone/peptide levels. Once the tests are completed, we will discuss the results and make recommendations based on the findings.

Once a therapy plan has been decided upon, all peptide orders can be placed through our clinic. Generally injectable peptides are in-stock and oral peptides will be ordered from our supplier in Omaha and delivered to our Lincoln or Omaha locations.

Injectable peptides come in powder form and will need to be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, we can do this in the clinic or train you to do it at home. Injections can be done at home or at our clinics.

Any peptides ordered by Omaha patients can be picked up at Iron Heaven Gym Saturday mornings 8am-1pm, where our staff will be there to meet you and explain how to use the peptide you have, or to answer any questions.
